It is right on the middle of October and yesterday I received my first 2 Christmas present deliveries! I am officially one third through the shopping experience for my partner and I and couldn’t be happier. This Wednesday Wishlist features gift ideas I have stumbled upon over the past few weeks in the wonderful world of Etsy.
Whether it’s a gift to yourself, a birthday present or Christmas you are shopping for, Etsy has not failed me yet when searching for ideas and inspiration.
Here are my top 5 under $50 gifts you should buy right now. Seriously.
1. Wild Man Beard Conditioner – $14.06 AUD
Raven – 30ml // 1oz
“Feel Rugged, Look Smooth”
This all natural, GMO free, vegan and cruelty free moisturiser is a highly absorbent and lightweight oil ideal for the daily maintenance of the skin and beard.
“Raven: Reminiscent of the damp and diverse forests found in the Pacific Northwest. It’s earthy, woodsy and cool with a subtle spice that is hard to place. This blend contains Ravensara, a lesser-known oil with a wonderfully grounding feel. Raven is a complex oil for a complex personality. Mysterious and intriguing, impossible to resist.”
Perfect for the man in your life with the beard of your dreams.
Your rugged mountain climber is currently lacking a beard? 3. Baby Long Sleeve Onesie – Merry Christmas Ya Filthy Animal – $17.64 AUD
Ugly Christmas Sweaters are one of my favourite things about the holiday season, which is unfortunate considering I live in Australia. Be the coolest Aunt or Uncle by grabbing this delightful Christmas onesie for the bubba of the family!
“This awesome Christmas onesie is definitely the way for your baby to win an Ugly Christmas sweater contest or be a big hit at any Christmas party.
100% Combed Ring-spun Cotton Red Rabbit Skins Onesie.”
And if there is no bubs around this year – don’t worry the TshirtMarket make the same print on normal shirts and sweaters in almost every size!
If you REALLY want one and must endure the Summer heat this Christmas, be a true Australian and grab it as a stubby cooler. I’m not kidding, see for yourself: https://www.etsy.com/au/shop/TshirtMarket
4. Vintage French Wine Rack – $29.41 AUD
Height: +/- 37cm / 14″
Lenght: +/- 61cm / 24″
As with age, comes wine. The older I am the more I enjoy a nice glass of red in the evenings…or bottle…s… I always find myself staring at wine holders if I walk past them in a shop and this one is so simple, clean and perfect I think I am in love. Able to be folded, you could even use it just for special events if you’re limited in counter space. Or, a new toilet paper holder! What about a magazine divider? Seriously, there is a use for this in every room.
If you need an excuse to buy more wine, this is it. The more full it is, the better 😉
5. Solar System Diagram Cutting Board – $52.94 AUD
Okay, so it’s $3 over $50, but I couldn’t help myself.
If I have to explain how awesome this is, then I will assume the image hasn’t loaded and you are forgiven.
“Cooking and learning about the cosmos is no longer mutually exclusive! Our engraved solar system diagram cutting board includes the following in beautiful detail: planet names, distances from the sun, orbital periods and pictographic representation of moons. We’ve also thrown in a few asteroid and kuiper belt objects for good measure!”
The backside of the cutting board remains plain allowing for functionally for chopping while maintaining the carved side for display and food presentation for those pesky veges that stain.
Elysium Woodworks designs are built from scratch; beginning as hand drawn artwork, and ending as beautifully engraved woodwork. They custom make boards, and as such are perfect for engagement or wedding presents too! Have a squiz: https://www.etsy.com/au/shop/ElysiumWoodworks
Keep an eye out for my favourites over $50 I’ll share next week 🙂
